   From what I've heard, you should go to a department store or something and register for one of their credit cards, like Macy's, Old Navy, Gap, etc.

   They'll most likely give you a credit card and you'll have a chance to build your credit back up.

   Try citicards.com. Good luck though… you have to have a 650 or better credit score to get any kind of non prepaid credit card.

    You can apply at the bank and if that doesn't work well start paying your things on time and build a good credit…

    Yeah, such a student is better off with a debit Visa from their bank and keep an eye on their money and spend wisely.

    Check out OrchardBank.Com. They are very liberal as to whom they will give a credit card.
